The Dangers of Open Septic Tanks

By In Uncategorized On November 27, 2017

One of the most dangerous things about our job as a septic system inspector is open tanks. Why is that?

Well, it is obviously the danger of falling in. But it is not just that – it is the situation too. Most of the time when we are inspecting a septic system, our clients are there (which they should be). But often times, so are children, pets, other family members, agents, and more.

Many people are looking at different things, reading, talking, and walking the property. But with and open septic tank, caution is needed.

This is especially true of children, who often don;t understand why this is so dangerous. We take great care to protect our clients and other on site, but please be careful the next time you get a septic system inspection.
