Have you ever walked out back and noticed that there is this one section of grass that is greener than everywhere else? If you have, then you may have a septic issue.

Your septic issue may not be on the surface of the ground yet, but it may be getting close. As effluent escapes from the leach field laterals, it can cause… well, grass to grow. Not to be crude, but it is basically moisture and fertilizer.

So what can be done about this? Well, first of all, be sure that it is a septic issue first. Not every green area on your lawn is going to be bad. If it is in the general area of at least part of your septic system, then be sure to hire a qualified licensed septic inspector, such as us.

Once it is shown where the issue is, and what the problem is that is causing it, you can hire a contractor to come and fix it.
